PRESS RELEASE

Logical Access with iCLASS Card Demonstrated at CardTechSecurTech 2005

Las Vegas, NV, April 4, 2005 Open Domain Sphinx Solutions will demonstrate the Sphinx Logon Manager software with the HID iCLASS card at the HID booth at the CardTechSecureTech (CTST) 2005 show in Las Vegas, April 12 - 14.

One of HID's themes for the CTST show will be “Do More than Open the Door”. The Sphinx Logon Manager software will demonstrate how the HID iCLASS card can be used for logical access. Partner products, which will be used for the demonstration are card readers from Omnikey and RF IDeas.

"It's helpful to point out that the iCLASS card can be used for logical access just as it is - without requiring that a chip be embedded on the card - which is a requirement with most other card-based logon products," comments Dietrich Wecker, who will be on hand at the show to demonstrate the software. "As far as I know, the Sphinx software is currently the only complete logon solution which works with contactless cards. This makes it a great choice for installations who want to keep using the cards that they already have, and just leverage their use to add logical access."

The Sphinx software can be viewed at the HID booth, number 204, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas at any time during the CardTechSecurTech 2005 show.
