Solutrance Secures Exclusive Distribution Rights for Sphinx Software in France
Rungis Cedex, France, September 13, 2005 Solutrance and Open Domain Sphinx Solutions announced today that they have signed an agreement which secures for Solutrance the exclusive right to distribute the Sphinx software in France. Solutrance will incorporate the Sphinx software into their access control packages, effectively providing their customers with a completely integrated security solution. Solutrance will also serve as the central contact for all Sphinx business in France.
Solutrance, an IB Group company, was founded in 2005 to focus primarily on providing access control packages that converge IT security with physical security functions. Solutrance solutions adhere to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act which proscribe that information in both forms (physical and electronic) must be protected by appropriate access control mechanisms, and these mechanisms must be audited.
