HP and HID Tap Sphinx for Trade Show Demo

HP and HID Global have collaborated to demonstrate a fast and simple "tap-in / tap-out" authentication on the HP Elitebook 840 G5 using highly secure HID credentials. This Elitebook is HP's first notebook that was purpose-built for healthcare.

Sphinx Logon provided the logon technology, which uses the Elitebook's built-in RFID reader to optimize clinical workflows.

HP and HID demonstrated the solution at the Cerner Health Conference in Kansas City in October 2018. Look for future demonstrations at the next HIMSS conference in Orlando in February 2019.
